How did you make the grill? Did you start from total scratch or modify a stock grill?
Wonder if you could strengthen it enough to mount less heavy duty fog lights in the grill itself....

I actually made the grill from scratch. After many prototypes I finally was able to make one to the dimensions I wanted. By cutting out all the factor grill vents the bottom piece slat becomes really flimsy. To reinforce it I added a threaded bar which bolts through the side of the grill. You can see it in the last photo. Even with that bar that bottom slat would be to flimsy to bolt a light to. If you want I can sell the light mounts for $75 a pair with all the hardware and the grill for around $80 with out the toyota symbol in the center.
