Default Interior LEDs/Any Worries or Concerns?

I just ordered some LEDs to replace the #168 bulbs in the Tundra. Anything I should know before I receive them as far as installation goes? Some of the photos I've seen as far as comparisons sold me on upgrading to LEDs. Just wondering what/if any issues have arisen from switching?

Thanks in advance.

Nope just some LED bulbs need to be installed in a specific direction (polarity) to work. If it doesn't light up in one direction, simply reverse and reinstall.

Back to the drawing board. The LEDs I purchased were obviously low quality/low light output. The factory lights were 3x as bright...the only good thing I can say is that the LEDs had a whitish blue tint.

I changed the courtesy lights and dome lights with very poor results so I reinstalled the factories and will be shopping for a better set of LEDs.

I guess I finally got burned by ebay after all these years. Time to hunt down some LEDs with serious output. Any links or recommendations guys?

About $300 later....we'll see how much more I like the VLEDs compared to the ebay crap. Ordered last night and hopefully have them by the weekend if I'm lucky.

Got the HID headlights too from VLEDs but I plan on letting a pro install those for me along with my Angel/Demon Eyes.

Without a doubt changing all of my interior lights to LEDs is one of my favorite mods.

They mistakenly shorted me one set of flange lights and corrected it immediately. All I can say is they offer superior products and service.

I also finally got the HID 6000K lows from VLeds installed Saturday and man what a huge difference it makes. Now I have to change the fogs and high beams at least to try and keep the color the same. I'm guessing I'll try some regular bulbs to see how that works. Too many HID sets on one vehicle would be overkill...the lows put out a ton of light. I pulled my BMW with factory xenons up next to it and there's not much difference except of course that the Tundra sits up higher so its beam goes out a bit farther.

Overall I am tickled ear to ear with this mod. I encourage anyone else out there contemplating the LEDS or HID from VLeds to go ahead...you won't regret it!

Now to get with VLeds to replace all my interior bulbs in the BMW too....yes it's that addictive.
