Default Lighting question

I have an '06 DC . There are a lot of roads here in SoCal that require daytime headlights. The problem is, when I turn them on, in daylight, the interior lights become too dim to read.

Can I bypass this somehow?

Can I install a separate headlight ONLY switch that will still go off in case I forget and leave it on?

I've seen threads of DRL's but mine did not come with them and they cannot be added, I've been told.

Default Re: Lighting question

What about adding switched fog or marker lights? This may be the simplest mod. You could get a gen2 Tundra DRL relay, and wire that into the turn signals lights as the gen2 uses. I have seen in threads where people have removed their relay so you might get one cheap
