Wrong part #"s ??? for turn signal bulbs???
Ok I am very confused here, I did a search as to what turn singnal bulb I need in the front and I came up with 3157. So I go buy some and they are way different than the ones I need. The 3157 have a long plastic plug and the ones I need have a round metal plug. I went with the 1157 but what gives???

You checked this:
INFO:Tundra Replacement Bulbs , and got the 3157 number, but now have the incorrect type of plug? Is that right?
From installing LED turn signals, I know that we have a special 3157 plug. The one I had to get was called 3157-SWACK type. You may be best off just taking your old bulbs up to an Autozone or something if you are buying direct replacements.

edit: also, the fronts use different bulbs than the rears. **

I went to Autozone and they would only sell me the 3157's and they had no idea why mine were different. So I went to Advance and they did n't know ethier but they found the closeset bulb a 1157.
