Default MOD Captain Chairs

I do not have electric adjustable seats on my SR5. I do have short legs - anyway my legs get tired on long trips because of the seat angle cutting off circulation. So I changed to angle of the seat to be more comfortable. Here is the mod:

Hex Bolt 10 MM 1.25 X 40 MM Qty 4
Home Depot 030699810888 $ 1.94 ea

Flat Washer 10 MM Steel Zinc Plated Qty 4
Home Depot 030699363483 $ .50

Lock Washer Split Ring 10 MM Qty 4
Home Depot 030699364589 $ .50

609 / End Link Bushings and Washers (Prothane Motion Control)
Pep Boys 6-36169-01969 $ 9.99
Includes 8 Bushings and 8 Washers (Enough bushings to do the front and back seat Mod).

Prep: Drill out 4 bushing washers to fit 10 MM bolt ( I used a round file). Not the bushings.
Steps:
Slide seat foward all the way - Remove the plastic covers at back of seat rails. Remove the rear 2 bolts holding each seat to the floor.
Place 10 MM lock washer, 10 MM washer on 10 MM bolt.
Slip bolt thur seat bracket. Lift the back of the seat up.
Slip bushing washer onto 10 MM bolt . Slip bushing onto 10 MM bolt. Secure to floor. Repeat 3 more times. Replace the plastic covers. So nice!

Thumbs up Seat Mod

This looks like another nice mod for us to do on MOD-DAY !!!

We'll have to add it to the list.

I noticed the price of beer hasn't gone up due to shortage. Does this mean Mud'og still has his electric back window??
