Default Disabling DRL's on 2002 tundra

So i have read a few forums about disabling DRL's on the tundras and i have yet to find an effective way of disabling them. I tried to disconnect the 2 gray connectors in between the battery and the inner fender liner and they still come on, i have tried the e brake method that works but i dont really want to drive around with my e brake on. So does anybody know of a way to completely disconnect the DRL's i have an hid kit and dont want the bulbs to be running during the day. Any tips would be a big help thanks
