Default best alarm?

i've been out of the car audio arena for a few years now, and when i was bigger in it, compustar was the brand to go with. i'm going to put an alarm in my tundra, mainly for remote start, but i want a 2-way alarm. what's the best out right now, within reason? i ain't looking to spend a few grand on an alarm with extensive custom additions. thanks in advance.

We deal with Compustar and they are still the better systems out there IMO especially on an installer stand point. As far as for users, it's got alot of great features and very good range. The alarm is good but only as good as the installation.

Default Re: best alarm?

thanks for the advice. i've always installed my own alarms, but i just don't have the time to do it to the level of OCD i normally have, so i'll be having a friend who has built several IASCA SQ vehicles to do my alarm install. he's as anal retentive as i am, so i know it'll be perfect, impossible to see, and rock solid. looks like i'll probably be going with compustar. i know them and have always had good luck with them.
