Do-It-Yourself driver side window died

I am helping a buddy out that went to Iraq by making his payments and using his 05 tundra. Has two half doors... anyway, long story short. The drivers side window rolled down, and wouldn't come back up. I don't hear a motor and the passenger window works. I am doubting its a fuse and hoping it's not the switch since they look to be about 200 bucks.

Can anybody offer some advice on where to start troubleshooting? I don't have a volt meter but can barrow one.
