Default Keyless to rs3000 alarm

been reading all your great post on upgrading my 2003 tundra keyless to full alram. However, I'm unable to locate the 8-pin to plug into. Can anyone give a pic of where this is? Thanks

The 2003 has a rs3200 not the rs3000. See HOW-TO: Upgrade to RS3200Plus for $5

There is no 8p on a rs3200 only a 3p in the driver's kick

Correct. There is also a black 4p behind the instrument panel knobs where the rectangular blank is located. This is where you plug in the LED and microphone. The 3p under the kick panel is disconnected to activate the extra alarm features.

Here is your post from before. That is why I was asking about the 8 pin connector. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...ghlight=rs3000

So All I need to do is Just disconnet the loop from the harness on the 3p connector?

Regarding the post you referenced. That is the procedure for vehicles with a RS3000 based system. The 2000 - 2001 are RS3000 based, 2002 - 2003 have a RS3200 based system.

Yes, disconnect the 3P shorting harness
