Question Rewiring Tacoma rear locker

I have a 99 Tacoma TRD, 4X4, SR5. It has the rear locking differential, only thing I don't like is that it only works in 4 low. I've been told that it can be wired to work in any drive. Anyone know how this can be done? I think it'd be nice to leave 2 lines of rubber on the pavement, I can't stand open diff.....cept for daily driving.
