Default remote starter won't start in real cold weather

I had my autocommand remote started installed last year around this time. When the temp drops real low like in the teens, Im livin in New England, the remote starter only cranks for like 2 secs then lets go. It usually starts up after the second or third try. I also set the unit up for Super crank because I know the tundra cranks a little longer than a normal car, but it does the same. It only does this when its extremely cold out, but its a pain in the butt. It stinks because it will try up to three times then the unit shuts off if it doesn't start the truck. Has anyone else had this problem?

I use my remote starter all the time, and it's been working great.

The side door faces the barn, where my truck is parked (sort of a car port type situation) and there is a thermometer on the side of the barn, so I always check the temp when I start my car in the am.

The two coldest mornings this week were -2 and -6 (at 5am, when I start the car), and there was never even any hesitation.

Maybe you should have your battery checked?

Thanks for the reply. The battery is fine. Its definitely the remote starter, I mean it cranks literally for 2 secs then shuts off. I think its a safety feature so u don't overcranck the starter and overheat it. It always cathes the second crank...but its kind of a pain.
