Default Is the Chapman alarm junk? Can I install the RS3200 in conjuction w/ the chapman?

This Chapman dealer installed alarm doesn't even work, I gotta go back to the dealer to have it fixed or something. i feel like i've been jipped for 500 bux. I should've had them take it out and just did the RS3200 upgrade. Can I still do the RS3200 upgrade with the Chapman piece of *@$!%* alarm in my 04 Tundra?

Have the dealer remove it if possible and make sure the RS3200 keyless modules are intact. You can always add a good (Viper, Sidewinder, Clifford) system later if you want.

So what are your opinions on the Chapman??

How does it compare with the RS3200? What are the differences?

From what I know, the biggest differences is that the RS3200 uses a 'glass break microphone' and the Chapman uses a 'shock sensor' and also has ignition kill...please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm gonna have the Chapman fixed 2morrow. I don't think I can get the 500 bux back anyways since it's part of my finance plan. I'll let yall know how it works, if it works, lol.

What is the model number of the alarm? What is fcc# on the key fob?

You could have had a really nice aftermarket alarm (Viper, etc) installed for $500 or less. The RS3200 isn't bad for a stock alarm. It doesn't false out with loud cars or morotcycles or thunder like shock sensors can. Neither will be of much benefit if it is a smash and grab break in.
