Adding 2nd fog light switch

I checked out the post for adding an additional fog light switch here
HOW-TO: Add an Extra Factory Fog Light Switch
and have a question:
I am planning on using the switch for off road driving lights. I would like to tap into the parking lights and run that through the switch to the relay for the driving lights. Does anyone know a good place to tap into the parking lights near the switch assembly and if so what color the wire is?
Not asking much I know

I checked out the exisitng fog light switch. There is a wire that connects to the switch to light it when the parking lamps are turned on. My question is this: Is it safe to tap into that wire and use it for the trigger from the additional switch to the relay? Hope this makes sense.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
