Default What about these tail lights?

I currently have the clear-red-clear tail lights on my truck, but they are starting to bore me and I'm thinking about changing them. I recently found these lights (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/photo...722-UURW2.jpeg), and I'm wondering if anyone has tried them and liked them. Thanks for any answers or suggestions. I want something a bit different then the '05 tail lights a lot of people are putting on.

Altezzas are a dead breed... plus they make trucks look "junked-up". Stick with the clear-red-clear.

Thanks for the tips! I know Altezza style lamps/covers are "played out," but I wanted something that is different. If I had the resources, I'd design my own lamps, and have someone make them. I have some ideas for tail lights that have some design elements mixed in from other vehicles. I might scan in some of my sketches and share them.

if you REALLY want to be different.. Fill the stock tail light buckets and paint them, then french LED strips into the tailgate, right under the cap, where you don't notice that they're even there till they light up.

lol... Really, I'd stick with stock or c/r/c... The altezzas remind me too much of the ricers that I hate soo much. specially the carbon fiber junk.....

But I'm waiting to get some 05' lights. I've had the clear ones for 3 years now and I'm sick of them. Maybe consider the all red ones I've seen on e-bay they are kinnda cool

What I was thinking of, is a mix of Acura, BMW, and the infamous Altezza lights. The main lights would have a round shape to them, but the shape of the outside casing would be smooth (OEM shape) with nothing protruding like the Altezza lights. The position of the lights would be rewired using a wire harness (think '05 lights) with the backup light on top, and the signal indicator on the bottom. The signal indicator (turn signal) would be made up three high-intensity LEDs with three visible positions. One facing directly to the rear, one at about a 43 degree position (blind spot area) and one out to the side at 90 degrees. Each light would be about a silver dollar in size, and be right next to the other.

Moving up, to the main light, it would have a large round shape made up of concentric rings set back a bit from the face. Each ring, moving from the center out would have it's own set of LEDs, with the outer most being the brightest (red) and only lighting up when the brakes are pressed. This group would be about four inches in diameter. On the side of this large "ring" would be a red reflector to match in position the lower signal indicator.

The top spot would be made up of a grouping of Super Bright White LEDs, that light up the rear of the vehicle very well at night and would assist in backing up. This top area would have an eliptical shape to it, wrapping around to the sides pointing lights in all directions. The "void" areas on the lamp cover would be a solid black color, as well as the exterior trim around the outside of the lamp.
