Changing bulbs to LEDs behind Dash/Speedometer

how do you get the needles off........do u just pull them off????

I have read through this and a bunch of other dash/speedo lighting threads. I am curious if there is anyone out there who just removed the green cover and basically made all his lights white? I personally like the white look and am curious if there are any pics out there?

I tried just taking off the green bulb caps, but the light is more orange than white. Doesn't look good at all. I'm going to just stick with the white led. Should be a much better look.
