Default Installing a rear window defroster on a shell?

Has anybody installed a rear defroster on the back window of your bed shell? As much as I love my ARE shell, the 10 degree angle that the rear flip-up window has makes it a magnet for snow & frost. I did something like this about with an aftermarket defroster on a car of mine when I was in high school about 20 years ago, so I figure these things are still around.

i have zero experience with this product, or any rear window defroster kits for that matter...so you're on your own with this
