hi everyone. i do not know what type of security system i have on my 2006 Double Cab Limited. when i press the "lock" button on the remote, i see a red side view of a vehicle with a key blinking in the dash where the speedometer and tachometer is located. the sales guy who sold me the truck said it had a glass breakage sensor but i cannot find it. i did try to open the lower portion of the interior panel but didn't see anything noticable. can anyone help me with this. by the way i tried tapping on the glass but didn't set the alarm off. thanks for any help.

The Double Cab does not have a RS3000 or a RS3200 based system. The theft deterrent system of the double cab models is controlled by the body ECU. The theft deterrent system use the door lock control system components and some other parts. When somebody attempts to forcibly enter the vehicle or open the engine hood without a ignition key or wireless door lock remote control system, or when the battery terminals are removed and reconnected, the theft deterrent system sounds the vehicle’s horn, security horn and flashes the headlights, taillights, and interior light for about one minute to alert. At the same time under this condition, it locks all the doors if any of the doors is unlocked. The control of this system is effected by the body ECU. The Glass Breakage Sensor is an additional option to the standard system in the Limited.

It seems that the Glass Breakage Sensor can be installed on a 2005 Tundra DC that already has the factory alarm system. Where does the GBS install at? I don't have any available switch knockouts so I am curious where it goes.
