Default Running Temperature Sensor wire

I’ve added a dimming/compass/temp rearview mirror to my 04 Tundra DC and I was wondering where people think the best/easiest access is to run the temperature sensor wire from the engine bay into the cab of the truck. Wire length is not an issue so all cab access points are viable.

After reviewing the 2003 mirror install guide toyota recommends running the wire through the rubber grommeted wire accesses in the firewall. Which are all heavily taped, didn't know if there might be an easier route.

Thanks,
JKG
