Question Remote Starter & Alarm Issue

I have a 98 Camry with the RS3000 alarm and have had an after market remote starter installed. The issue is that if the alarm is on, doors locked and I do a remote start, the doors unlock, the alarm indicator LED is off but if I open the door, the alarm goes off. To get around this, what I have to do before opening the door (after doing a remote start), is activate the alarm and then deactive it. Then I can open the door normally. Does anyone know how to interact the remote start with the alarm so that the remote start does not interfere with the alarm.

Thanks
