Default Tail light wireing help!

Well i upgraded to the 05 tail lights, however the seller just cut off the oem harnes! so now all i have is some wire loom, and some wires inside of it. does anyone know if the wires will be the same coloring scheeme from the 05 tail lights to the 02 tail lights. just trying to make the job easier before i go cutting into stuff!

I am courious as to why you can't just swap out the bulbs and use your 02 bulbs in the 05 lights

All kinds of mods, but it will never replace my Tundra in my heart! By the way, this truck SUCKS compared to Toyota.

It took me a bit to figure out how that would work, but after looking at the light, its soooo simple, use old harnes with connectors and bulbs and new tail lights, no wireing needed! thanks for the tip!

And parot, thanks for the diagrams those will come in usefull on another project thanks!

No problem...now if they would only come up with some better looking tail lights for the double cab...smoked would be nice.
