Default Beeping Turn Signal?

OK this us a new one on me. I haven't had time to track it down yet and begin to diagnose. Figured maybe somebody here had same problem.

When I turn on my left turn signal in my '03 Sequoia I hear an intermittent beeping sound not the standard tick, tick, tick. The tick is there but faint. The beeping sounds like an electronic relay possibly. It does NOT do it on when the right signal is on only left (so far) and not all the time. I'm guessing maybe turn signal relay going bad because the tick is quieter when it beeps. Normal tick sound (as compared to right side) all the rest of the time. It beeps when you first put blinker on for 4-5 times then reverts to normal tick with an occasional beep.

Radio and everything else was off so it wasn't a song on the radio. I can duplicate it easily so will need to search. Any other ideas??

Interesting that you should mention this as I was about to start a similar thread. My symptoms are the same as yours with the exception that mine rings like some one hitting a musical triangle.

I was considering replacing the relay, which was a small plastic cylinder on my Chevy Nova. No idea what or where it is on my Tundra though. Doesn't really bother me all that much which is why I've let it go.

If I find out more I'll let you know.

sounds like (not sure) the turn signal on reminder chime. ie when a turn signal is left on for extended period of time the chime starts to alert the driver to turn the signal off. yours may be malfunctioning.

Never heard of one of those. I know my wife has driven 20 minutes with the right blinker on and there was no warning sound.

I have the exact same issue on my 2002 tundra. It bugs me that I cant find where it coming from. Ive tried turning off the stereo, but that mocking beeping noise beeps randomly while driving without having anything on (radio, turn signals, lights etc). The noise is sort of a high pitch electronic beep noise coming from the dash, sounds like the beeps/chimes from a wrist watch.
Has anyone found a cure for this???
