That's where I'm at right now...no mobile, just the 7R. Helluva radio!

Tho I need to make a permanent external antenna. Since the roof is lined, the mag mount doesn't stick well, and isn't really vertical outside the gutter.

I can hit the 145.460 repeater most places west of I25 (Denver), from about Longmont down to Coal Creek Canyon road...beyond that it's a different repeater. I'd probably get better t/rx with a better mount.
