I bought a used 2005 tundra double cab 4x4 without fog lights, after reading the threads on hear I ordered the OEM fog lights, switch and relay. Installed them just like I read on hear to the factory installed wiring, and nothing. The switch controls everything but the foglights. Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Re: 05 tundra dc fog lights dont work!! please help
Is there a foglight fuse that is missing or blown?

If that's true, it sounds like you've connected to the wrong points/wires. Are you following an actual wiring diagram (specifically for your year and cab model) or just relying on someone's description in a thread?
Re: 05 tundra dc fog lights dont work!! please help
I don't think you can hook the switch up incorrectly (it's the steering column mounted switch, right?) It just plugs into a connector. The fog lights shouldn't be able to be connected to anything other than their harness either. I would think maybe a bad relay or bad fuse. There are bulbs in the lights, right? I don't think the foglight assemblies include bulbs when you order them.

You must have two threads going on about the same topic, look on your other thread, several people have responded to it.

Re: 05 tundra dc fog lights dont work!! please help
yes there are bulbs in the fog light assembly. And the switch is located on the head lights/blinker stick on the steering column. I bought the new stick which has the fog light swith on it, i just uplugged the other switch and plugged in the new one. Perfect fit. The fuse is good and I just bought the relay from my local dealership. The relay plugs into the back of the fuse box located on the driverside just left of the steering column. does anybody know which wire on the steering column is for the fog lights, or have a wiring diagram???
