Default 2006 4x4 gear question

So as far as I know there are no aftermarket gears for the front in 2005-2006 4x4's. I was wondering if I replaced the gears in the rear only, would I no longer be able to use 4wheeldrive? Also would my limited slip still be functional? What are my options? I would like to put some bigger tires on but don't want to lose power or make my gas mileage worse.

you would not be able to use your 4 wheel drive, if you did, your transfer case would be destroyed. as for the limited slip, it would still be functional.

So until someone comes out with new gears for the front end I really don't have any choices.

I don't believe they will come out with gears for the front. All the aftermarket companies are now focusing on the 2007...
