Default Leaky Oil hoses!

Hi all,
Just did a routine oil change on the truck today and noticed oil on the skid plate right beneath the oil filter area. After removing the skid plate, it appeared that the leak wasn't coming from the filter itself but rather the small rubber hose that leads to the oil filter and is held on by the wire clamps. Any idea what might cause that hose to leak? I'm hoping it isn't too serious
Thanks in advance.

Just a guess, but age may be causing it to leak. Not serious now, but I'd certainly replace it before it does get serious. This is also an argument in favor of removing the skid plate for oil changes.

I am not positive but, I think those are coolant hoses for your engine oil cooler. The oil cooler is what the filter actually mounts to; like I said I am not 100% sure.
