Default Transmission Dip Stick

Where is it? Do they stop making dip stick for transmission now. How are we suppose to measure our tranny level?

I have been driving my truck for 2 years and have NEVER look inside the hood.

There isn't one on your '05. Here's some info that'll help you out though...

Transmission oil stick?

Wow!!! What a bummer...more ways to keep the dealer mechanic in control of my vehicle.

Ooh, BTW...thanks for that link. I really appreciate it.

05 & 06's come with the worthless design and the tranny fluid they came with is Synthetic and only requires replacement if under sever conditions at 120K? I will take mine to dealership and have them to do the flush & filter at 50K if they allow me to watch! if not i will find someone that will ! the Toyota WS ATF was good enough so i will use it again! could extend a little longer but NM has severe conditions BIG TIME and i tow!
