Default halfaquart too much?!

Is adding half of a quart engine oil to much going to hurt anything. 05 dc tundra 4.7L.

Never mind!!!!!!!!!!! Found the answer.

You could always open the drain for an instant just to make sure. These trucks are very easy to work on underneath.
