Default liquid(gurgling) noise behind dash

i know this might not be the right forum for this, but you guys are EXPERTS. anyways, i'm getting a sound coming from behind the dash of my 04 DC(with 4.7), that sounds like liquid sloshing around. almost like a gurgling noise. it's almost always when my AC compressor is on(either with the AC or defrost). i heard it more in summer, but still occasionally hear now. is there some sort of radiator right behind the dash? could i have drain hole clogged up? also, it doesn't happen all the time. and sometimes the sound is much worse than others. i keep waiting to get wet feet one of these days. i've had more vhicles than i can remember and never have heard this. also, in the summer, the compressor seemed to be cycling on and off more than usual. when it would cycle off, you could REALLY hear the liquid noise then. i had the dealer check it out and he said everything was A-OK. the truck was new to me this summer, so i don't know if it's always done this.

Check and make sue that the passenger side floor board is not wet as if the drain hose for the a/c evaporator box is stopped up. There is a drain on the lower part of the fire wall make sure it is not plugged.

In the past with some of the Camry's I have seen the coolant level being a little low and the gargling noise coming from that as well.

Hope this helps.

I had a liquid sloshing trickling sound behind my dash as well. It happened whenever the engine was brought above idle, then would disappear once the truck was rolling above 15MPH or so.

I had thought that there was water trapped in a frame rail or something, except that the sound occured whether the vehicle was moving or not.

Turned out it was something to do with the heater hose running along the top of the firewall in the engine compartment. Probably had air in it. I ran my HVAC through all temps/settings and it went away.
