Default Test drove a supercharged truck

Went to the dealer to get some tabs to hold the rubber fenderwell shield on. Talked to the parts counter guy, and he stated that the parts manager said to match competitors prices on the supercharger, even internet. Told me to just bring in the print out of the add, so that they could see it, and they would do it. While talking to him, he introduced me to a mechanic that has the supercharger on his truck, and he is also the installer.

Got to get one. Liked the way it made me fight to hold my head forward against the acceleration rush. The 1 to 2 shift felt way to soft, but was told by the mechanic that this was due to a 30degree retard that was programed to keep from blowing the tranny like in the testing they did. Still awesome. Kept my head pinned on the headrest until about 70mph. Absolutely fabulous!!!!!!!!! Saving the money now, might just put it on a credit card then pay it off in about 5 months. Ive gone completely MAD!!!!!!!!!! Way out accelerates my 95 mustang when it was stock. Hard to believe that a 4 wheel drive truck could push you in the seat like that. He had the TRD airfilter, supercharger, and headers. Can't wait!

Default Yeah, was trying to pay off my bills too!

I guess this will push me back about 5 months in paying off my debt. But what the hell. I'm going to keep this truck for at least 4 more years, and I always love power no matter what I drive. I got rid of the mustang, and have only the truck, so I might as well enjoy it while it lasts!

It felt almost exactly like my friends 94 camaro in accellaration. His car was specked to run 0 to 60 in 6 seconds flat! the pull feels about the same, but dropps off earlier than the camaro. If this realy does drop off two full seconds to 60 and in the quarter, Then I'm getting it. I have read someones review that they ran a 14.4 quarter with a 4x4 with a passenger, and no headers or exhaust. This is incredible power for a pickup. Puts our trucks right in line with about a stock new mustang!!!!!!!!

wow!!!!!!!!!!!!

For my S/C, $3900 plus $300 installation. Totally worth it!

Exclamation cost

Shop around, you should be able to find a price like that on the internet.
Call another toyota dealer and see if you can buy it from them and have it shipped to you.
Just find someone who has installed one before, to do a quality job. good luck

Lightbulb SC install

If ya can wait a while, just wait till ya get here in vegas.
Look Hodgee and I up, id be happy to install it for you
I have done more V-6's than i can remember and 8 V-8's or so hard to remember. You'll have to ask him what he paid, i have no control over that. But i think it was right around 300$ install, (dont quote me, just a guess).
Good luck moving, take care
Victor

Default They matched price!

Findley Toyota matched the Romania Toyota Parts price of $3995, and did the install for $300 even! Vic, did the install, and he did a fantastic job. I blast around on this thing like crazy and it just runs as reliable as the day I first bought it! Get the boost levels I am supposed to get. I can't say enough good things about this setup. Toyota Racing Development made a great product, and having the reliability of Toyota made it all worth it. I have had another supercharged Chevy and Ford Mustang, and both of those cars lead to lots of problems, and a lot of money later on for repairs!
