Default New JBA y-pipe for Tundra

In the TS performance banner above there is listed a JBA EVOL Y-PIPE for 2000 - 2003 Toyota Tundra 4.7L V8 2010Y. Does anyone know anything about this pipe or have a picture?

Doesn't it seem strange that the Y-pipe is nearly 1/2 the cost of a set of JBA headers or their EVOL exhaust system? I would think $150 max for the Y-pipe would be reasonable, not $220 bucks. My .02 cents, FWIW...

Jim.

Yeah it's a little too expensive and to be honest I don't see it giving me enough of a gain in low-end torque to justify $220.

What kind of performance gains can you expect from the custom Y-pipe? Does anybody have one on their truck?

This is a guess, but I think Tundra Jules has a neat one on his rig. You might check his photos.

It looks like you'll have to cut off and weld on your 3rd cat or resonator (depending on the state you live in) onto that Y pipe.

I found this photo of jbtoy's Y-pipe,I remember TundraJules having pics too,but I guess he deleted them. Jules used a universal Flowmaster Y with a 3" outlet if I'm not mistaken.

Bassani just came out with a stainless steel true dual that eliminates the y pipe.

I'm thinking of buying this, does anyone know if it will have any adverse effects?

It's a 2in-2out bolt on w/o y-pipe.
