Question V8 exaust on V6

I'm new to the whole exaust thing and was just wondering if an exaust system is made for a V8 tundra will it work the same on a V6 Tundra? I have not seen any exaust systems made for V6 tundras.

Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question directly but I will say this. For the amount of money that you would spend on a bolt on performance exhaust system for a v8 Tundra (~$500) you could buy a performance muffler like www.spintechmufflers.com and get the same performance for $100.

I have the TRD Single outlet Cat-Back on my V6. Installation took about 20 minutes with the help of a buddy (stock out/TRD in).

As soon as I get the S/C, I will get the TRD Duals - also for the V8.

On my Dads Tacoma with 3.4, I installed a Magnaflow 4x14" muffler with a 2.5" tail pipe. It is loud and raspy, just how we like it. There was a significant performance increase as well.

Could never get your old sound to work - any chance you could re-record with the new exhaust so we can hear it? How does it compare to the Bassani setup you had?

Thanks - Jeff
