I'm a regular on the CorvetteForum but, due to the Vette needing work, I'm driving our '00' Tundra.

I know it'll never compete with the vette but, I'd like a little more get up and go.

With a C5 corvette you can get some pretty good performance gains by just changing out the air intake and filter. What do you recommend for a Tundra.

Welcome to the forum. This has been a much talked about debate but I have found that no one has really made any significant gains other than Hodgee http://216.110.167.77/forums/showthr...threadid=11766 in this thread. He cut a full second off his 1/4-mile time with just an exhaust and intake modification. The threads start from the last to the first here so you have to click on the last page to start from the first post.

My advice to you is stay away from the K&N intake, and TRD dual exhaust if you like your low-end torque. This is also interesting http://www.mcagraphix.com/filter/test.htm

Quarter mile 15.526 @ 87.17 mph bone stock in 40-degree weather 2WD SR5 V8.
Quarter mile 15.389 @ 88.66 mph modified in 60-degree weather 2WD SR5 V8.
