Find a BG service shop near you and let them do it. Kind of pricey but I hear it's good stuff. You see BG products on commercials during races. I had it done to my daughter's '98 4Runner. Runs like a sewing machine now.

my experienecs with "flushing, from any6one, and my bguess is even worse with a company that hires minimum wage people to "work" on you rtruck, is that the flushing usually involves frreding new fluid in one end while draining it out the other. this tends to "stir up" any particles/ rust/ contaminants etc and because its not being fully drained BEFORE refillling those particles remain in the system to do more damage than had they been left alone. If you need to do a fluid REPLACEMENT then always drain ALL the old fluid first. Definately go to a mechanic as opposed to a lube shop of dubious quality.

Jiffy Lube and its poor reputation are nationally famous. So that said, skip them.

Let's not use the word flush, as it is not really appropriate to the task.

The transmission on the Tundra holds roughly 4 quarts.

The torque converter shares transmission fluid with the transmission and it holds roughly 13 quarts.

The best way to do a transmission service is to remove all the transmission fluid in the system, (roughly 17 quarts) and replace it with fresh. The transmission does no use any filtering media beyond a mesh screen.

The 00' through 02 Tundra used Dexron III Transmiassion Fluid. It is easy to find anywhere.

The 03' and 04 Tundras used Toyota Type IV Fluid. It is not available in any other way than to buy it by the quart form the dealer, and of course, the dealer has it in bulk for themselves. It is NOT interchangeable with other fluids and NO other fluid manufacturer will recommend that you use their product in lieu of Type 4. So do not interchange it. Many service shops will happily change your transmission fluid and they say they have an additive that makes their fluid compatible in your transmission. I have not been able to get ANY trans fluid manufacturer claim this is so. They all say type Iv is only available from Toyota. PERIOD.

(if you are one who has used whatever in your 03' or 04' transmission and think it is fine, thats nice. I'll not recommend that others follow in your steps.)

The 05' and 06' Tundra, take the new Universal Fluid, which is available in many makes and models. They say you never have to change it. I have my reservations about that, but ok.

If you take the truck to the dealer, it is the only way you can affirm that the correct, non interchangeable fluid will be installed in your Truck, and they will hook up to their machine so that all your fluid is properly exchanged with clean fluid.

There are not many times I would recommend going to a dealer for, but this one is important and beneficial. Changing 100% of the trans fluid completely, with the correct fluid is pretty important to the Tundra.

Good Luck, HTH

My first post military job was Jiffy Lube. Mostly high school kids and ex cons working there. The minimal training was mostly HAZMAT and MSDS orientation. I've seen intentional damage to customers vehicles by the high school kid employees. NEVER NEVER NEVER take your vehicle to Jiffy Lube or any quick lube place. The place always tries to sell you the extra services. Transmission, fuel system, belts, hoses, light bulbs, and all the other stuff to RIP YOU OFF.

You can see there exists a common theme from all the posters on this thread. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH JIFFY LUBE!!!

Few years back, brought my Acura to them w/ a 5qt. M1 jug (too lazy to jack the thing up, unlike the tundra where it's not necessary.) They got pissed. Don't know why 'cause I was saving them money by bringing my own oil. Guess they wanted to push their own syn on me. Oh well, never went back again.

Oh yeh, did I mention stripped oil pans!

lol, oh sure, now you tell me... I took my 94' in to a Jiffy Lube about 10 years back, for the one and only time, because I didn't have time to do it myself like I usually do and they stripped my oil pan. After the refused to foot the bill for the replacement pan, my bro-inlaw filed suit against them for damages and they coughed it up.
