Default TRD Dual & existing gasket

Is the TRD muffler supposed to go over the existing gasket and both flanges flush against each other? The diameter of the TRD flange doesn't look big enough to go over the existing gasket like the stock muffler flange did.

It's been around a year since I installed my TRD exhaust. If I recall the flanges didn't fit together as tight as the stock unit, but not so far apart that I was concerned about.

Cool

Everything fit nicely. Used the original gasket but purchased a new clamp because I had to cut the original one off.

You should have no problems with fit - based on the experiences discussed previously on this site.

I had the TRD dual installed at my local Toyota dealer a year ago, it took 45 minutes. The mechanic said it went on perfect. At first I liked the sound, but now I'm really getting tired of the drone at 2,000 rpm. If interior sound dampening doesn't help, I'm taking them off.
