Default Cold Muffler

I've asked this question before under another thread but now I'm curious enough to create a specific thread.
I have the stock exhaust on my 2000. The colder it gets outside the louder the exhaust gets. For example, last night it was about 5 degrees when I left work. The exhaust was so loud the it almost sounded like I had no muffler and the exhaust pipe ended under the right rear corner of the cab. As the truck warmed up the sound lessened but was still louder than normal when I got home, about an eight mile drive. It's always done this. In warm weather, the exhaust is nowhere near as loud.
Has anyone else noticed this or do I have a problem?

Default I second that

I 2nd what hovismo said. Sounds like an exhaust leak. When under the truck, look at the "joints" in and out of the Cat Converter and in and out of the muffler, Both sides of the Y Pipe, Etc.

Do you have the stock exhaust?

Yes, I do have stock exhaust. It has always made a fair amount of noise, even in warm weather, and I thought it was normal for the Tundra. I even mentioned it when Toyota called for their survey. Could never figure out why people who were changing their exhaust systems wanted it louder. If it is a leak it should be easy to find.

Thanks for the input.
