Loss Of Power? trans not downshifting?

on my way home from work today i pulled out and it seemed that my truck had no power. Felt like it was stuck in a high gear and did not want to pull out. drove for a few miles and pulled over. Shut the truck off restarted it and it was fine. called my dealership to have it looked at but i was just trying to see if anyone else had this problem and what i am getting into.by the way its a 2005 tundra with 65k on it
