Default Anyone have the TRD headers?

How are the TRD headers for the 4.7L? Does it make it really loud? I don't want it too loud, but I do want a nice rumble. Was the performance enhancement noticeable?

Thanks for any info.

Thumbs up TRD tundra

i have them, they are really nice. I believe the loudness will come from the muffler system you have. I like the TRD set up, there are amy others out that you can use. TRD's are kinda pricey but well worth it if you want to keep your truck within the same theme of TRD. Its personal preference.

I asked a guy I trust at TRD and he said they aren't due to the placement of the cats.

I was glad I talked to him since some of the dealer's parts people said yes and others said no.

I also got conflicting info from the TRD 800 number before I got to someone who really knew what they were talking about (hopefully they get their story straight).

Short answer...no, the headers are not ready for the '03 Tundra.
