for the past week, when i shift my truck into gear, the OD/OFF light automatically comes on. i have to put it back in Park, and hit the OD button on the end of my gear shift to turn it back on, then it stays on. Has anyone had this problem, and most important, what was the fix?
It's most likely a worn wire in the steering column. There are several threads about this problem in the 1st Gen Tundra forum. Here's a link to the most recent:
