This is a discussion thread titled "Seal on Slide Yoke?", within the Engine & Drivetrain forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Okay this may be a dumb question but, is there some sort of seal on the rear drive shaft slide yoke? I have a 2003 4wd Tundra, I have to grease the slide yoke almost once a week to prevent the binding during braking that is common with these trucks. The problem is that the grease is simply not staying in the drive shaft. I don't see any sort of seal, but I'm thinking maybe there is one and I need to replace mine.
