Default stuck on header install

What did you guys use to remove the bottom exhaust manifold nuts? I'm stuck at this part and almost have to resort to removing the engine mount for this. I do have a bunch of extensions and u-joints, but i dunno the perfect combination to reach those two bolts without removing the engine mounts.

Do yourself a favor and remove the mounts. It only takes a few minutes per side. It will also make it a lot easier to fish the headers in. It is a lot easier to slide the headers in from the back rather than the front. the passenger side there is a lot of room but the drivers side does get tight because of the steering shaft. I just did a set of JBA's on my 01 2 weekends ago and didnt have too bad of a time. Once the mounts are out and the engine is supported on a jack you can actually move it back and forth a few inches to help with clearance.

I decided to remove the mounts one side at a time while doing each header. Gives me plenty room!

Another question, did you reuse the collector gaskets that goes between the header and cat and the y pipe gaskets?
