Default TBSpacer

So, has anyone tried the infamous Throttle body spacer on their 4.7/5.7l TUNDRA? Being a snowmobile/dirtbike mechanic, and also learning to be a diesel tech, I dont really believe to see any gains... The biggest gains I could see is if it was a slide carb, where you would put a plug/block on the inside of the slide that creates a straight shot of air across the underside of the slide, instead of an down-up-down effect.

I did search this and did not find anything by the way.

I bolted on a stack of 2 of them and now my 5.7 will get my Tundra to do wheel stands.

You didn't do a thorough enough search...no provable gains, at all, from anyone that's tried one

To the OP

go here http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/search.php

enter "throttle" for the key word and change it to search titles only in the drop down

click on the "tundra" in the search in forum(s) section to limit the search

hit "search now" and have fun

for even more fun. next use "TB spacer" as the key word with the same parameters.

I think forum wide, we are all on the same page...they make great paper weights (or places to mount the giggle gas nozzles)

Thanks to your post, now I'm a little more proficient in my searches.

I can get 40 mph now, so I'm not sure why I'd need a whatever this thread is about. I can also get below 40mph...and even above 40mph, but I have to press harder on the pedal on the right. I'll send you beer, but I want some Irish Whiskey in return for sharing my over 40mph secret with you.

Yes, I'm having a lighthearted moment with an obvious goof by RudyDep.

Cheers!
