Default How do you change power steering fluid?

I have never changed my power steering fluid and would like to replace it with Amsoil. Is this easy? Any help would be appreciated.

You can suck it out of the reservoir with anything that'll work...but don't let your Mrs. see you using her turkey baster. Or, disconnect the lower hose and drain it into a catch container.

Refill with your choice of ATF. Drive a while so it circulates, and do the whole process again, and once more if you wish. You can probably do three changes with a quart of ATF.

When I did mine I went and bought one of those cheapie siphon pumps at AutoZone for $2.99 and 1 quart of Mobil 1 ATF. Siphoned old stuff out of reservior, filled with Mobil 1 ATF, drove around, siphoned and filled again, done. Just check the level the next day after driving to make sure its topped off properly.

Ken is right, I think I still had a little ATF left after 2 fills.
