The TRD or Kazuma limited slip differential is made by Eaton here in the US. The factory installed Tundra limited slip differential is made by Hino in Japan. Both utilize spring loaded friction discs to transfer power from the faster spinning wheel to the slower turning wheel. As far is which is better, who knows.
