Question 06 Tundra auto-trans how to stop engine breaking

I commute every day over a few small hills. If I have to tap the breaks even for an instant the automatic transmission starts engine breaking. This increases my RPMs over 4x and thus uses a lot of gas. I average 10-11 mpg. I have the towing package installed on this truck, by the way. Is there any way to disable engine breaking? I almost never tow anything.
Thanks,
akh

My advice to you is not to tap those brakes and instead, drive a bit slower than you usually do, thus avoiding the need to engine brake.

Sanosuke!
