Yes, 90,000 miles is the recommended replacement interval for the timing belt on the Toyota 4.7L V8 as well as the newer (>97) 3.4L V6.

Are you sure the 4.7L V8 has a timing belt. I searched all the documentation I could find online, and was told by one of the service Reps that the 4.7 L engines in the both the Cruiser, and Sequoia have timing chains.

Does the timing belt have automatic tensioner? Or is it like the Honda's?

They use a timing belt, not chain. Older Landcruisers with the straight-6 engine did use a timing chain. Service reps/writers are not technicians, they aren't very good sources of tech info.

Evel - automatic tensioner.
