Default AHHH..Exhaust Woes

Im going insane....Everywhere i call, no one has a dual exhaust setup for the V6 (cat-back that is). I cant imagine its any different than the V8 for pipe routing etc. And the V6 and V8 TRD exhausts are interchageable... Can someone please pt me outof my misery! PS: I dont want Flowmasters as they are the only one ive found that fits the V6.

I assume you don't want the TRD duals that fit the V6 because of a lack of enough back pressure? That's what I've seen posted elsewhere in TundraSolutions. Having just put the single TRD exhaust (in combination with headers) on my V6 I definitely would not want duals unless I had the supercharger. I lost a little bit of low end power with the single exhaust... although I can't say exactly what RPM's since Toyota didn't see fit to put a tach in my standard shift Tundra

Default Magnaflow

I had a Magnaflow single in-dual out muffler installed on my 03 v6 on day two of ownership. Go to your local muffler shop. If they're competent, they should be able to route your dual exits either to the side or out the back. Have a look at my pictures.

I know for sure that if you have an '02 or earlier, the V8 and the V6 cat backs are exactly the same (at least outside of California). So if a place says they have a cat back for a V8 it will fit the V6.

Thanks for the info!

I was in the local Yota dealership today (I drove right through their set while they were shooting a commercial - OOPS! ) And while in the parts dept. I was drooling over the TRD SuperCharger and Headers combo they had advertised. Wish I had the $4500 to get that bad boy installed!

WEll it came today and I put it on tonight. It sounds a little "ricey" but more on the performance side. Almost like my M3 sound. Anyways power is substantially better and I actually didnt have to do any modifications to the exhaust it bolted right up. No Low end torque loss either and I mean NONE. Pics to come...
