Default Jardine/Performance Products Catback

Performance Products currently have their version of Catback (made by Jardine I believe) for 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia on sale (page 10 on their current toyota cat.) Its made with T304 Stainless and free flowing muffler and tailpipe assembly, single 2 1/4 inch, 16 gauge exhaust pipes feature smooth mandrel bends and a chrome plated stainless steel tip that wont yellow or tarnish etc....

Does anyone have any experiences with Jardine Catback product?
I intend to have it match with either S/S header or JBA's...would it be a good combo? since TRD doesnt have header for Sequoia.

Appreciated much any inputs both pro and con.

Thanks.

Frank.

Default Jardine/Performance Products Catback

I have the Jardine catback system on my 03 Tundra. It's single exit aluminized mild steel. Welds started to rust after about 2 months. No leaks though. Stainless Steel will last longer and is lighter. Chrome tip is nice.

Loud resonance between 1500-2500 rpm. You don't really notice it at highway speeds, but it can be droning in street use. Tires seem to break free very easily on light acceleration, even with LSD. No loss in bottom end as with other exhausts.

Jardine manufactures exhausts for TRD and Downey. I got the Jardine because it was Free.

Bloodypulp,

Thanks for your inputs

I think I will hold off for it right now and hopefully S/S will come out with the system soon.

Thanks again.

Frank.
