From TruckPerformance.Com:
The Titanium Ceramic Coated Series is the next level of header durability. The Titanium is a coating composition formulated for protection of metal components against high temperature heat oxidation as well as providing thermal insulation. This coating maintains excellent adhesion even after exposure to cyclic high temperatures like a typical header is exposed to. This coating offers supurb thermal shock resistance. As higher temperatures are reached, the Titanium coating will flux and become harder and more abrasion resistant, unlike organic coatings that chalk and loose adhesion at these extremes. This product also provides superior protection against corrosion. Extensive testing of the Titanium coating has shown excellent performance at temperatures up to 1800 degrees fahrenheit!
We are expecting to place our group order on May 19th or soon as we have 10 people signed up. Please PM me if you are a serious buyer. I'll need your zip code now. When we place our orders all you'll have to do is call an 800# and give them your particulars. Thanks. JB

Just out of curiousity, what is the difference between the V6 Tacoma headers and the V6 Tundra Headers? I have been trying to find out but they look exactly the same. I mean they share the exact same engine so whats the difference?

According to JBA, the Y-Pipe is made to work w/their headers.
If you install the Y-Pipe w/the stock manifolds, you might have to fabricate a little. JBA can make a Y-Pipe for the '03's but it will take 4-6 more working days to make them. The price stays the same- $142.00 delivered. JB
Ok guys, I know that this post is for the JBA headers so I might be stepping outta line here. But, since the dealers say that the Tacoma and Tundra share the exact same engine and the exact same headers, then shouldn't the rest of us who can't spend 5oo-8oo $$$ on a set of JBA headers be able to go and purchase like the Downey headers for a cheaper cost. I have been trying to get some answers on this and so far the after market companies keep saying they are different. Now that JBA wants to make some money they are saying that it is the exact same headers. It has almost come to the point that I was just gonna order a set of Tacoma 3.4L V6 headers just to try them out but didn't want to have my truck down for a few months if it didn't work.
Can anyone get a solid answer that we can trust and not just some money making skeem to sell headers that must be customed bent to work around the steering rod or cabling or etc... I am all the way over here in Guam and if I had to test different headers not only will it cost to $%@ much to ship these things here but it would also take ages as shipping stuff to Guam takes almost the lifetime of the truck itself Any help on this I know everyone would appreciate.
We have enough buyers now so these prices are locked in for this week only. May 27-30th. If anybody else wants to jump in on this group buy please PM myself or Tremo. We'll send the dealer info to serious buyers only. Thanks to everyone who signed up.
Let us know how the installs go.......JB

Well, we've had two people drop out from the GB now. I was #6 when I called my order in on Wed. Tundra311 was #7. We need to see 10 people before this buy goes thru. The dealer has asked me to post his particulars to help out w/the buy. I might be unavailable to the site this weekend so if anyone is interested in buying the JBA headers you can:

Wow those guys are pretty cool to work with us like this. I sure hope we don't let them down...
I had checked w/Russ on the EVOL catback system for someone and he said that if you buy the headers AND the catback, you can buy the catback for an additional $270.00 shipped.
This is model 30-9014 for the Tundras ONLY. No catback systems sold by themselves for this price. JB
