Question Griots oil removal pump

Has anyone bought and tried the oil removal pump from griots? It certainly looks good in the catalog. It even says it will suck out your transmission fluid.

I have one and use it for the wifes ML320. So far it works good (2 years), but I have to stop & restart it in the middle because the ML takes 8.5 quarts of oil.

Griot's is a little more expensive, but I've only been disappointed with one purchase I made from Griot's and I will say he stands behind his product and policy of just return it if you are not happy.

His stuff is not cheap, but you get what you pay for with them. It is all very high quality.

I bought a higher quality all-metal topside oil changing system from a marine shop for $35. Here is a similar setup: http://www.skilimited.com/product.as...&base_no=AA-OC

Not sure if the MVP is better then this one or not:
http://www.boatamerica.com/browse/item.asp?IID=16467

I have never used it on my Truck... just my BMW which has scheduled maintenance. I use the extractor in between factory changes but I don't exclusively use the extractor because I want a full drain to get the chunks out.

You'll get more dirty oil out of your engine and transmission using the drain plug.
