Engine & DrivetrainDiscussions about the engine and drivetrain of your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "18x9 TRD BBS", within the Engine & Drivetrain forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Just had a set put on my truck. Came with 275/55 cross-terrians, were balanced and all Toyota needed to do was slapped'um on the rig. A street oriented look but none-the-less a wicked combination. The alloy sheen is bitch'en, and the rubber stems have a matching metal sleeve. Actually, One could go bigger in size -but no vibrations, tricky handling and equal acceleration to the standard 16"s. The dealer matched the internet price, plus tax though, but thought the quick service was worth the extra tax tack on. Plus they are TRD!!
How much did you pay for them and where did you get them.. Saw pictures on a toy parts website, Once they make more tire options, ill try these on for size.
2k and at a Toyota dealership. Agreed, the tires are not perfect but they ride nice for the street and no 18" off-road tires that fit my requirements really exist yet. Man, they are sharp. And they scream quality. Try to get pics soon.
BFG all terrains and toyo open country a/t's (400 rating) come in a 285/60/18. These will fit without a lift. The saw the rims on sale for 230 a wheel.
230x4=920
so the michelins cross terrains tacked on another 1080??? plus that all might 8.25%. Man im really gonna wait now.

bigger tire sizes from better maunfacturers. I like michelins but just not what I want. waiting for Toyo or BFG's to make something in the 325/60/18 range. that would be really nice. Lets see some pics soon ..later
